Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of excellenceappliancerepairs.com and the appliance repair services provided by Excellence Appliance Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this website or booking service with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We provide in-home diagnosis and repair of household appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, ranges, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ice makers, wine cabinets and built-in coffee systems. Service is subject to technician availability, parts availability, and safe access to the appliance.

2. Appointments and arrival windows

We schedule appointments in two-hour arrival windows. Traffic, earlier jobs that run long and weather can affect timing; we will contact you if your window changes. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the property for the duration of the visit.

3. Charges and quotes

Any charge for a service visit is disclosed to you when you book, before a technician is sent. If you approve the recommended repair, any such charge is credited toward the total cost of that repair. If you decline the repair, that charge remains payable and covers the technician’s time, travel and assessment.

All repair quotes are flat-rate and given after diagnosis. If additional faults are discovered once work begins, we will stop and obtain your approval before proceeding further.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods advertised at the time of service. Unpaid balances may be subject to collection costs permitted by law.

5. Warranty

We warrant our labour for 30 days from the date of the completed repair and the parts we install for up to one year, subject to the manufacturer’s own parts warranty. The warranty covers the specific repair performed and the specific part fitted. It does not cover:

  • New or unrelated faults that arise after our visit.
  • Damage caused by misuse, power surges, water quality, pests, improper installation by others, or continued use of an appliance we advised against using.
  • Appliances repaired or interfered with by another party after our visit.
  • Cosmetic wear, or consumable items such as filters, bulbs, belts and gaskets consumed by normal use.

Warranty claims must be made to us directly. See our Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy for how claims are handled.

6. Appliance condition and limitations

Appliances are repaired in the condition they are found. We may decline to work on a unit that is unsafe, that has been previously repaired improperly, that has water or pest damage, or where parts are no longer manufactured. Where an appliance is not economically repairable, we will tell you so and charge nothing beyond the visit itself.

Moving built-in appliances carries inherent risk to flooring, cabinetry and connections. We take reasonable care, but we cannot accept liability for pre-existing weaknesses in flooring, cabinetry, plumbing or electrical connections that fail when an appliance is moved.

7. Access and safety

You are responsible for providing safe, clear access to the appliance and for disclosing known hazards. We reserve the right to leave, and to charge for the visit, where a property or appliance presents a safety risk to our technician.

8. Website content

Content on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute a guarantee that any specific fault can be repaired, or at any particular price. Repair price ranges shown are typical examples, not quotes. Do not attempt appliance repairs described on this site yourself; gas and high-voltage work is dangerous and, in many jurisdictions, regulated.

9. Trademarks and brand references

All manufacturer names, brand names, logos and model designations referenced on this website are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Excellence Appliance Repair is an independent repair company. Reference to a brand does not imply affiliation with, endorsement by, or authorisation from that manufacturer unless expressly stated.

10. Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics and code of this website are owned by Excellence Appliance Repair and may not be copied or republished without permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any service or from your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including spoiled food, lost income or property damage not directly caused by our negligence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service was performed. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to your service.
